17 Nov Favorite Fall Playlists
Whether you prefer music to be background noise or the main event of your car ride, a solid playlist is essential for any successful road trip. The Camp Gals have compiled a list of playlists + fall artists that just give off that steaming cup of coffee, rainy day, fall color vibe. Grab your coziest cardigan, light your favorite candle, and get ready to be in a mood.
Created by the Camp Gals
Driving to the Mountains: Created by Nicole Karl. She started this playlist when she moved from Michigan to Washington, mainly to replace her “driving to the lakes” playlist. Of course, if the song references national parks, mountains, or the PNW at any point, it is automatically under consideration for the playlist! These songs are perfect to motivate you to go on an adventure with good friends, a latte in hand, preferably heading to a beautiful hike. She also likes to listen to these songs while on her “urban hikes” around the neighborhood, so it is truly ideal for an adventure of any size. (Let her know if there are any songs you love that you think she should add!)
So this is the Cabin: Created by Elise Decker. Inspired by life up north in her cabin, Elise created a playlist of taste-breaker songs that deviate from her usual vibe. Perfect for when you need a windows-down, mood boosting playlist for your drive.
Fall Color Tour: Created by Rachel George. A blend of folk and indie music, this playlist is ideal for moody fall drives in the rain while romanticizing the changing of seasons with your gals.
Heading North: Created by Emily Swanson. This playlist embraces the calm feeling you experience when you escape to the wilderness and leave the stress of work behind for the weekend. A Camp Gal pastime is heading north to escape, so this playlist is perfect for those moments.
More Favorites
Fall Playlist: Created by Ashley Terkeurst Hodges. “The perfect fall playlist whether you’re gathered around a bonfire or cozied up with a blanket and some cider!”. Every song included on this playlist is by one of our favorite artists, so naturally we had to include this one.
Autumnal: Created by Elizabeth Ann Hyland. Perfect for “backyard bonfire cider sippin’ pumpkin pickin’ crisp nights”. You really can’t go wrong with this one.
PNW: Created by Abby Finnegan, Nicole’s friend and housemate! Even if you don’t live in the Pacific Northwest, this playlist is perfect if you want to imagine that you’re on a road trip through the Cascade Mountains with your fellow Camp Gals.
Wild + Free: Created by Spotify. Constantly played by Nicole Karl while driving in her car and living her best Pacific Northwest life. Major folksy vibes going on with this playlist.
Woosah Wavelenth 54 : Created by Woosah, one of our favorite outdoorsy stores in Grand Rapids, MI. Described as “Tunes that make the leaves fall right off the trees. Warm up with moody fall tunes and ease into an energetic jive.” Perfect for a drive while sipping coffee and reflecting on the chaning seasons.
The Everygirl Listens: Fall: Created by The Everygirl, one of our go-to websites and favorite spot for finding cute tech backgrounds. This playlist includes classic folksy songs that you might find on other fall playlists, but also has songs with a moody and chill vibe. Ideal for lighting a candle and relaxing while it’s raining outside.
Great Smoky Mountains: Created by Parks Project. We love this brand because not only do they have cute merch, but their mission is to promote, protect, and preserve public lands. They have playlists dedicated to several National Parks too, but this one is a favorite and definitely has an autumn mood.
The Great Indoors: Morning Coffee: Created by Camp Brand Goods. This playlist said “social distancing, but make it outdoorsy”. We are here for it. We will be listening while drinking a ridiculous amount of coffee by the fireplace.
